The Polish Government against Independence Marchers – on the road to Bloody Sunday in Warsaw?

Screenshot from YouTube video: POLISH INDEPENDENCE DAY 100TH ANNIVERSARY PROMO!

Being for seven years praised as a symbol of hope for Poland and Europe or depicted as black Sabbath of Neo-Nazis, the Independence March in Warsaw seems to be doomed as a result of apparently joined efforts of the so-called conservative gov’t and its so-called total opposition. The March organizers speaks about treasonous stab in the back by the President and Prime Minister: „Go to Warsaw, fear only God and dread not. Our lives and our death for the country!”

This Wednesday the Mayor of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz declared that she took the decision no to allow the biggest patriotic march Europe sees in our times. The mayor, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, spoke about her decision only in highly general terms: “Warsaw has already suffered enough due to aggressive nationalism,” she said, etc. It seems she took this decision only because of political and ideological differences between her party and the Polish nationalist movement, without any clear evidence to prove heir accusations. The capital city police spokesperson denied the allegations of Mrs. Waltz about security consultations with the policemen’ chiefs.

According to the main stream, English language newspapers far-right nationalist march was banned in Warsaw amid fears of violence

As you perhaps know, on Nov. 11, also the next Sunday, Poles commemorate the establishment of the second Polish republic in 1918, the resurrection of the Polish state, territories of which were seized by the Russian, Austrian and Prussian empires for 123 years. Since 2010 a great rally is held annually in the Polish capital to commemorate this important anniversary.

This event could be considered as an brand name of Poland, widely known abroad, and one of very few successful enterprises of the weak and deeply divided Polish national movement, which one hundred years ago was, strong and united, one of the fathers of the second Polish independence. Almost each time this year’s event was marked by confrontations with counter-protesters who tried to stop the rally. President Andrzej Duda (called among Polish right radicals groups Andrew Juda — our bro the Jew, because of his more and more perceptible pro-Israeli attitude) had some time earlier decided to stay away from the event; he invoked danger of a possible grave political provocation.

Warsaw mayor baned Independence March and the gov’t planed new rally — only few hours later!

The alternative march, organised by the President and Prime Minister, is due to take place also on Sunday, being planed as the new, politically correct culmination of events marking the centenary of Poland recovering its independence. “Even if the courts confirm her decision, we will still meet [...] The march will take place,” said Tomasz Dorosz, the leader of the National Radical Camp in a huge township in Warsaw. National Radical Camp (Obóz Narodowo-Radykalny, ONR) is one of the groupings who are behind the Independence March. During World War Two the ONR answered with fierce resitance on the Nazi Germans occupation of Poland. It’s leaders were imprisoned and murdered by the Nazis. Some of the march’s leaders said they are planning on showing up regardless. The already somehow known in Britain ex-priest Jacek Międlar (as Jack Mendlar or similar) said they would have a plan (two or three plans if needed) to defy the ban.

The Polish government — course holding?

There are more and more statistical data, being confirmed by everyday life’s observations that the governing in Warsaw neoconservatives are appeasing the followers of multiculturalism. Not only because we have here a huge wave of immigration from Ukraine. By the way, most of these Slavic migrants working in Poland seems to be the Ukrainian Russians, fearing persecutions and fleeing from the poverty in their own home country. There are not an acute problem, but because of their numbers (about three millions already) there is practically no chance to assimilate them even in the distant future. Moreover, we have here already whole families from Pakistan, Philippines etc. on the big cities streets. They are reportedly the desperately needed workforce for our national economy, and they are already becoming newly introduced in Poland benefits. Their numbers are only growing.

At the same time the government excluded a possibility of a common march of Law and Justice party followers together with Polish Nationals, bearing theirs parties signs and flags

The White-Red March, as called by the ministers, should be free of such symbols. It sounds like they are scared of lefties and EU supporters attacking Poland for this event, and the Nationals, also Libertarians see that this way. On Thursday the District Court in Warsaw revoked the ban on the organization of the March of Independence, which was issued by Mayor Waltz. The Independence March shall, as for now, theoretically start at two o'clock. However, an hour later, the so-called presidential march should also begin and it has the same route. It’s still too early to be sure that we don’t receive some tragic news from Warsaw this Sunday.

In my personal opinion it should be a lesson for the Polish national movement anyway

Im not dealing here with the present Poland’s domestic issues to defend mistakes which Polish nationals are doing. First, it was to be expected that Kaczynski and his adherents will be, so to say, caring hosts of the supranational big business. Business as usual, or there will be no easy royal way to do governmental business. They are, besides like Donald Trump, nationally motivated conservatives, but not enough to put the head on the block. Now they are speaking clear text to the right-wing opposition: obey! If not the Law and Justice would consider more various bans and that's for sure.

Second, most leaders of the Polish national movement make terrible and uneducated accusations against Germany and the Germans, Russia and Putin. They seems to be unconscious of the injunctions given to next Polish patriots generations by their greatest leader from the past – Roman Dmowski, warning against any war planned to defeat Russia, which Poland is doomed to loose. Kaczynski and his adherents are rejecting the conclusions issued from the books of the careful inter-war era leader too… As a result, there is a strong group of Polish nationally thinking intellectuals who are rejecting the present-time national political organizations. They are warning that no sense of danger among the leaders of the government leads to their own country in danger.

Third, the National Movement party of Robert Winnicki, also the ONR are much too much clerically thinking and speaking, despite of bishops and the pope being undoubtedly against any nationalism in Europe. To oppose fiercely against the greed of the banks or to shout out: “Europe will remain white or shall die!” is simply too little nowadays. So, this movement is doomed to be weak, marginalized, and with no wide scale direct influence in the society. At least for now.
